Brit designer Olivia Rubin has designed a one-off summer capsule collection for Dorothy Perkins, and the results are seriously pretty.
Yesterday I finally got the chance to check out the Olivia Rubin for Dorothy Perkins collection, which I have been looking forward to see since I found out about the collaboration at the brand’s spring/summer press day last year.
My outfit of the day, decided to have a triple denim clash!
Denim Shirt from ZARA, Denim Bralet and Hotpants from TOPSHOP, Alexander Wang bag and Suede Black JC lita Boots.
Aside from the collection, here are some of the babes that caught my attention, pastel, colour block, unique prints. My all time favorite!
In DP latest collection, the colour palette combines soft neutral shades of grey with hints of pastel, alongside Olivia’s classic pink hues. Distinctive prints include soft brush colored birds that are featured on an array of jersey. It gives a fun and bright look on chiffon maxi dresses.
Here is a sneak preview of a couple of my favorite pieces.
Taupe hi-lo hem skirt
Grey Bird Dress
This is one beautifully executed designer high street collaboration, not only is it instantly recognisable as Olivia Rubin with the fun prints, the sexy silhouettes of the dresses and tops with peplums and wrap details, the funky separates with key-hole detailing and cut-outs, and the gorgeous bright pink hues that Olivia is known for, but it has a Dorothy Perkins feel to it with the flattering designs!
