Corset and Me

For a simple item of clothing, corsets and bustiers have stirred many opinions as to their function and the role they play in the female wardrobe. In eras past, as a required fashion staple, corsets were sometimes considered to be the epitome of conservative male oppression of women with their restrictive binding.
In current times however, fashion designers are less likely to consider corsets as a figment of male domination and instead covet them as a timeless fascination with shaping the female body and today’s wearers can surely be considered to be clearly exhibiting the ultimate form of confidence and feminine expression.
Some say putting on a corset can change one’s state of mine, what’s your say?

Instead of wearing long trousers, I have always preferred shorts. Reason because I don’t have slender legs. pfft. Check out the Rosamosario corset! Loving the nude satin with a black lace overlay. . The amount of lace and the choice of colour are simply gorgeous. Red, white, black are too mainstream, and be very careful with the texture, you do not want it to look like a costume! While some might complain that corset is too feminine, why not try to pull some blazer over? Then again, a fitted blazer adds polished appeal to any outfit. Here’s a sneak peak of what I will be putting on tomorrow! Very close to the one I created above in the style book. Corset Me has so many different designs of corset and I love nearly all of them! I found my dream corset that I always wanted to have which is the CM0309. A perfect simple corset with lovely flowery design. Fashion fades while style doesn’t. This is one corset that can wear it over years and yet still stylish.
With this corset, I will pair it with a pair of black leather plain legging and a pair of boots, maybe a leather bike jacket, then I am good to go

and the necklace very layering with Butterfly.
Corset Me has left me lusting after so many diferent pieces. But ultimately, a choice has to be made and mine is CM 0306. It’s got a very punk rocker-ish style to it which I think will make it very easy to match with many other pieces. Complete the look with some bad ass stone-washed ripped jeans, killer heels and a hot piece of leather jacket, and you’re good to go! Blood-red lipstick optional to the look as you wish
