Just because you weren't born with long paint-brushes for lashes, doesn't mean you can't fake 'em with some falsies. Faux eyelashes may seem a little intimidating to put on at first, but they're actually quite easy.
1.Make sure your eyes are free from makeup. (make up base and eye base are fine)2. Apply a thin line of black or brown eyeliner atop your lash line. This gives you a target for applying your lashes. (preferberly a pen eyeliner, because liquid eyeliner might stuck on your real lashes and later on u will have difficulty in unclotting them.)
3.Take your eyelash curler and curl your lashes. (Do not apply mascarra first, or it will turn out like the last picture below labelled with "B".. two layered )
4.Apply a thin line of adhesive along the lash band, and wait a few seconds (blow it, fan it.. etc) for the glue to become tacky. Then, press the lashes on right above your natural lash line, starting from the inner corner of your eye and working outwards. Keep your fingers holding them in place until they set. (If the glue seeps out a bit, it's okay because it will dry clear.)
5.Take your eyelash curler and curl your lashes and false lashes together so that they join together.6.apply a coat of mascarra.
7. apply another layer of eyeliner to cover the lash band.
8. Not forgetting you lower eyeliner and lashes and you're ready to go!
Tip i:To avoid the mascarra leave u a mess around ur eyes, you can use any brush, place it behind ur lashes as shown above and apply the mascarra.Tip ii:Make sure they fit. Press the fake eyelashes to your eyelid, along your natural lash line. Do the fake eyelashes extend beyond the natural line? If so, cut off as much as needed from the outside edge with cuticle scissors.
Pictures shown on the right side is the correct way of wearing a faux lashes, as on the left side, u can actually spot two layered of lashes (real and fake one).. so that's how it is, everytime when i see girls having this "two layered lashes", my fingers feel so itchy and just want to pull them out of the eyes =p CLICK FOR A LARGER VIEWOk.. it's odd, because it has been a long time since i update a makeup tutorial post.. well.. although i'm not a professional groomer, but I do pretty convinced that I'm good at doll-ing up meself, atleast =p ? heh.. don't get irritated, i started out young.. hmm.. probably around 12 or younger.. remember that i had my mum caught me messing my face up with her makeup.. haha.. that was one of the classic tales in my childhood...
