The flower symbolism associated with the calla lily is magnificent beauty.

Calla lily is symbolic of marriage and purity because of its white color and its trumpet-like shape, similar to a woman's shape. It is also the symbol of rebirth and resurrection; therefore, it is widely used in funeral arrangements and planted in cemeteries.
Just feel like painting out of the blue.. hmm.. inspiration always come in a time that you will never expect.. you know? (Hahaha.. trying to act like an artist here) Anyway, I'm not done yet, above is a draft of the calla lily( I'm using soft pastel! =D).. and tick-tock it's already 5 in the morning, and i think i better hit the sack!

PS: Georgia O'Keeffe's painting "Calla Lilies with Red Anemone" (1928) recently was sold for $6.2 million at a Christie's auction in New York, and I wonder if art have a price, how much does my painting worth =p
