Well.. this is my graduation dinner aka 2008 prom..and I think I shouldn't have say this here, but.. it's really disappointing.. The food.. aha, I shall put it in next post.. Excluding the theme, the decoration it's actually alright. Events and entertainment are suck! DJ, omg.. it's totally a turn off. I don't know how much they actually pay for the DJ.. but I think with or without the DJ make no difference.. About the time, i was kinda furious, it is written in the ticket the prom will start at 7, but later on the committee told us, it actually start at 8, and end up people going in to the ballroom and food start at about 9+.. Wei zhen told me, it's alright to go down at 8, but I thought it'll be not nice for being late, but who knows.. argh.. and for some of my friend they actually got fed up and went home early...
Awards
About the awards, they only offer prizes for prom king and prom queen only, but it's ok.. since they couldn't find any sponsorship. But the worst part is, they announce your name and ask you to be in the center of the dance floor.. and the banner, you will have to go to the back stage and take and wear it yourself, funny huh? For the prom king and prom queen nominees, i thought all of them suppose to be on the stage and do some catwalk or whatever, but end up they only call out the winners names and tht's it.. Well, wearing the banner by ourselves it's ok, but.. sigh... some words on the banner it's actually fading, because the glitter it's dropping off.. I was like OMG by then, my dress kenal whole lot of glitter and i'm started to curse ady. "Other government school's prom is even better! At least those banner they wore won't make their dress shine like a Christmas tree at the end of the day!
